Basketball Recap: Federal Hocking Takes a Loss

Federal Hocking was the 83-52 winner over Trimble when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Federal Hocking Lancers fell 55-45 to the Trimble Tomcats on Friday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Federal Hocking's record now sits at 2-9. As for Trimble, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Federal Hocking and Green will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Federal Hocking is facing Green at the right time seeing as Green is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trimble, they and Nelsonville-York will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
