Soccer Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

The matchup between West Point and Cullman on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The West Point Warriors fell 5-3 to the Cullman Bearcats. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cullman, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

West Point will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Danville at 7:00 p.m. on March 10th. As for Cullman, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against St. Bernard Prep on the 15th.
