Baseball Recap: Houma Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Houma Christian put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Morgan City. The Houma Christian Warriors came out on top against the Morgan City Tigers by a score of 5-0. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win (which was Houma Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Morgan City, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
