Softball Recap: Wirt County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Wirt County's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Wahama White Falcons on Monday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Wirt County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wahama, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wirt County will take on Roane County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wahama, they will square off against Gilmer County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
