Basketball Game Preview: Drew Dragons vs. International Jaguars

Drew is 1-9 against International since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Drew Dragons will square off against the International Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. Drew knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully International likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Drew took a blow against International, falling 100-55.

Drew's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kian Chan, who went 9 of 18 en route to 23 points, and Rafa Ledesma, who posted 12 points and six rebounds. Chan's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Lukas Wrobel also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

The win (which was International's eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points over those games. As for Drew, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
