Softball Recap: Lyman Memorial Takes Down Sports & Medical Sciences Academy in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lyman Memorial walked away with it. They blew past the Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers 18-4 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the match before.

Lyman Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Lyman Memorial will face off against East Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
