Football Game Preview: Tomahawk Hatchets vs. Spencer/Columbus Rockets

The Tomahawk Hatchets will face off against the Spencer/Columbus Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Tomahawk is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Omro 41-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Hatchets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Foxes are ranked 253rd).

Tomahawk's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Jonah Dickens and Jett Reilly. Dickens gained 104 total yards while Reilly rushed for 71 yards.

Tomahawk was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Omro only rushed for 35.

Meanwhile, Spencer/Columbus strolled past New Holstein with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 31-12.

Tomahawk's record now sits at 9-1. As for Spencer/Columbus, their record is now 6-4.
