Volleyball Recap: Eastern Eagles vs. Symmes Valley Vikings
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Hill, Eastern was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Symmes Valley Vikings as the Eastern Eagles made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-9.
Eastern was led to victory by Riley Mccoy and Lydia Park. Mccoy had seven digs and 11 assists, while Park had seven digs.
Eastern's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Symmes Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.
