Football Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll lost against Headland back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles had to suffer through a 41-8 loss at the hands of the Rams. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holden Pawlik threw for 159 yards on 14 of 24 attempts. Jeremiah Hairston was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards. On the ground, Kayden Cole rushed for 55 yards.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Headland, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Headland, they will challenge Rehobeth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
