Soccer Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Moberly Spartans. If Fulton were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to Moberly when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Moberly, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fulton will take on Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fulton will be up against Eugene's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.8 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Moberly, they will square off against Marshall at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday.
