Soccer Recap: South Stanly Takes a Loss

South Stanly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Gray Stone Day Knights. South Stanly were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

South Stanly's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Gray Stone Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

South Stanly will challenge Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Union Academy will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something South Stanly surely won't give up without a fight. Gray Stone Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
