Basketball Recap: Phoenix Military Takes a Loss

Phoenix Military lost against Little Village back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Phoenix Military Firebirds took a blow against the Little Village Phoenix, falling 53-10. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Little Village's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenneth Williams, who posted ten points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyshawn Miller, who earned nine points and four steals.

Phoenix Military's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Little Village, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phoenix Military will take on Chicago Collegiate in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Little Village, they and Raby will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
