Basketball Recap: O'fallon Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Breese Central came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against O'Fallon, but Haeli Tart wouldn't allow it. The O'Fallon Panthers walked away with a 57-46 victory over the Breese Central Cougars on Wednesday thanks in part to Tart, who went 9 of 15 en route to 23 points along with five assists and three steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Kalmer, who posted three points and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

O'Fallon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Breese Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 20-2 record.
