Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

If Mountain Pointe wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Notre Dame Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Alex Heritage. The Saints put the hurt on the Pride with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank Heritage, who had 17 assists and five digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Notre Dame Prep was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Mountain Pointe still got an impressive performance from Amirah Rankin, who had 22 assists and three digs. Ava Rogers also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Notre Dame Prep and bumps their season record up to 11-2. As for Mountain Pointe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
