Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moss Point). They blew past the Poplarville Hornets, posting a 71-39 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-17 two weeks ago.

Moss Point's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jujuan Nettles led the charge by putting up 19 points and three steals. Kevon Ford was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points along with four steals and three blocks.

Moss Point was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Moss Point's victory bumped their record up to 9-19. As for Poplarville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Moss Point has already played their next game, a 63-55 defeat against Pass Christian on the 4th. Poplarville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
