Volleyball Recap: Benton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Benton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lafayette Fighting Irish. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory last Thursday.

Benton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 21-25, 25-17.

Benton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5-3. As for Lafayette, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-12-2 record this season.

Benton is taking a road trip to take on Park Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
