Football Recap: Janesville Skates Past West Central with Ease

Janesville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 54-13 victory over the West Central Blue Devils. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 54-22 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Janesville's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for West Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Janesville will host Riceville on Friday. Janesville will need to watch out since Riceville has now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for West Central, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kee at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
