Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Regional Falls Despite Big Games from Isabella Manikas and Zoe Varnum

Silver Lake Regional lost against Duxbury back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakers came up short against the Dragons, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 25-14.

Silver Lake Regional's loss came despite strong showings from Zoe Varnum and Isabella Manikas. Varnum had five digs and two aces, while Manikas had 11 assists and four digs.

Silver Lake Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Duxbury, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Silver Lake Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Plymouth South on the 23rd. As for Duxbury, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pembroke on the 22nd.
