Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Llano walked away with it. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over the Poteet Aggies. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won nine matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Llano found their leader in freshman Cole Landers, who rushed for 72 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Brady Kelly was in the mix too, providing the Yellowjackets with two touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Llano's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Cole Kennedy was the leader with two.

The win was the seventh in a row for Llano, bringing their record up to 10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.9 points on average over those games. As for Poteet, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

As of now, neither Llano nor the Aggies have any future games scheduled.
