Softball Recap: Enochs Drops Season-High Score on Turlock

The home team had come away the winner the last three times Enochs and Turlock had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Enochs Eagles came out on top against the Turlock Bulldogs by a score of 17-13 on Tuesday. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Makayla Alailima was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Nico Gwin also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Enochs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in seven consecutive matches.

Enochs' victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Turlock, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Enochs has already played their next game (against Downey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Turlock also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Modesto.
