Softball Recap: Bourbon Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Bourbon proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 15) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Stoutland Tigers, sneaking past 9-7. While the War Hawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bourbon's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Stoutland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Bourbon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Bismarck on the 15th. As for Stoutland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-7 victory against Steelville on the 16th.
