Volleyball Recap: Wendell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wendell came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Malad Dragons. The Trojans have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-14.

Audra Bunn paced Wendell's offense, picking up four kills. Bunn got some help from Annabelle McRoberts and her 13 assists. Finally, Brynn Singleton kept Wendell's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Wendell's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Malad, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-9.

Wendell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Soda Springs on the 18th. Hopefully Malad paid attention to the Trojans' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
