Basketball Game Preview: Seminole Chieftains vs. Tecumseh Savages

Seminole hasn't had much luck against Tecumseh recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Seminole Chieftains will square off against the Tecumseh Savages at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Seminole saw some tournament action on Friday. The matchup between them and Prague didn't end well, with Seminole falling 49-34. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Red Devils are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Tecumseh ended up a good deal behind Casady on Saturday and lost 51-35. The Savages haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Tecumseh's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Seminole, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.

Seminole took a serious blow against Tecumseh when the teams last played on January 7th, falling 61-25. Can Seminole avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
