Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Spring Hill walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Brock Eagles a 2-0 shutout on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-6 on Thursday.

Spring Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Brock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 30-5.

Coming up, Spring Hill will square off against Wimberley at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The Texans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Brock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
