Mt. Vernon has gone a perfect 5-0 against Richland County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Mt. Vernon will look to defend their home field against Richland County at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Clara Williams, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
