Baseball Recap: Georgetown Day Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grayslake North last Sunday, Georgetown Day came back down to earth. The Mighty Hoppers lost 13-3 to the Potomac School Panthers on Tuesday. The Mighty Hoppers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Georgetown Day dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Potomac School, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-6.

While Georgetown Day had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
