Volleyball Recap: Linn Bulldogs vs. Clifton-Clyde Eagles
Linn lost against Clifton-Clyde back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Linn Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Clifton-Clyde Eagles.
Linn was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Clifton-Clyde work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19.
Mylee Hammond was a one-man wrecking crew for Clifton-Clyde as she had 17 digs and two aces.
Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 18-17. As for Clifton-Clyde, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-14.
As of now, neither Linn nor Clifton-Clyde have any future games scheduled.
