It's playoff time, and Concordia had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Green Ridge Tigers 19-1 on Tuesday. The Fighting Orioles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Olivia Hemme made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Emily Wilkens was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Ava Mueller, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Concordia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .649. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green Ridge only posted an OBP of .312.

Concordia's victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Green Ridge, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-11.

As of now, neither Concordia nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
