Soccer Recap: Montgomery Central Comes Up Short

Montgomery Central lost against Ledford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Timberwolves came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-1. One reason for the loss might be Montgomery Central's aggressive play style: Jocelyn Jimenez Jimenez and Lyndsey McIntyre were both handed yellow cards.

Montgomery Central's goal came courtesy of Jimenez Jimenez, who's now up to 13 this season.

Montgomery Central has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Ledford, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.
