Volleyball Recap: Eau Claire North Takes a Loss

Eau Claire North extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 5-9. They fell 2-0 to the Mukwonago Indians. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Indians when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elle Reuber paced Eau Claire North's offense, picking up five kills. Reuber got some help from Kendall Vance and her five assists. Olivia Proffitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Mukwonago, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Greendale and 5-9 Eau Claire North.

Leading Mukwonago to victory were Amanda Esmeier and Dylan Zmudzinski. Esmeier had 16 assists and five digs, while Zmudzinski had ten assists and four digs.

Eau Claire North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Greendale on the 6th. As for Mukwonago, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Verona on the 6th.
