Basketball Recap: Weskan Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Weskan extended their home winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Trey Allen. The Weskan Coyotes blew past the Golden Plains Bulldogs 86-46 on Friday thanks in part to Allen, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 15 rebounds. His evening made it 32 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Dodger Allen was another key player, putting up 18 points along with five boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (three).

Golden Plains' loss came despite strong showings from Diego Perez and Dylan Wark. Perez posted ten points, while Wark scored 14 points. Ezekiel Weiner also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.

Weskan's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Golden Plains, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Weskan will take on Cheylin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weskan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.4 points per game this season. As for Golden Plains, they will face off against Quinter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
