Softball Recap: Eastern Hills Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dunbar last Saturday, Eastern Hills came back down to earth. The Eastern Hills Highlanders lost 26-12 to the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles on Tuesday. If the Highlanders were looking for revenge after losing 25-9 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eastern Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Eastern Hills and Southwest will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. Eastern Hills has given up an average of 17.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they will host Benbrook at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
