Baseball Recap: Bishop LeBlond Takes a Loss

Bishop LeBlond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 11-6 to the Plattsburg Tigers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Sam Page made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Bishop LeBlond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Plattsburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-11 record.

Coming up, Bishop LeBlond will welcome East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plattsburg, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against West Nodaway at 5:00 p.m.
