Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oakland Tech walked away with it. They won by a set and slipped past the Albany Cougars 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won four contests in a row.

Oakland Tech was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-14, 24-26, 25-17, 15-13.

Oakland Tech's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-12. As for Albany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-16.

As of now, neither Oakland Tech nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
