Softball Recap: College Station Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact College Station can now relate to. They fell 5-1 to the Barbers Hill Eagles on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for College Station and nudges their season record down to 22-10. As for Barbers Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Barbers Hill beat College Station by a score of 5-1 on Saturday.
