Rock Point had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Greyhills Academy Knights by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

Pepper Pete paced Rock Point's offense, picking up six kills. Pete got some help from Aiyana Becenti and her 14 assists. Becenti also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Anaysha Becenti, racking up four apiece.

Greyhills Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Rock Point has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Winslow on the 30th. As for Greyhills Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Red Mesa on the 2nd.
