Gayville-Volin won the last time they faced Mt. Vernon/Plankinton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Raiders put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 15-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Gayville-Volin's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Gayville-Volin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-1 victory against Viborg/Hurley on the 3rd. As for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, they will be playing at home against Bon Homme at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
