Recap: Reed Raiders vs. Bishop Manogue Miners

The Reed Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Bishop Manogue 86-59 at home. The victory was just what Reed needed coming off of a 65-42 defeat in their prior contest.

Reed had a senior duo take command as Tj Coulter went 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 42 points and 5 assists and Dominic Williams scored 27 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Coulter has scored at least a third of Reed's points. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Smith, who scored eight points.

Reed has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Bishop Manogue, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reed will take on Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Douglas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Bishop Manogue, they will head out on the road to challenge Galena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Galena is ranked 38th, while Bishop Manogue is ranked 40th).
