Basketball Recap: Yankton Takes a Loss

Yankton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Vermillion Tanagers and fell 53-23. The match marked the Bucks/Gazelles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Yankton's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Vermillion, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yankton will welcome Mitchell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vermillion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Baltic at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
