Football Game Preview: Lakeview Sailors vs. Sharpsville Blue Devils

Lakeview hasn't had much luck against Sharpsville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sailors will square off against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, Lakeview took a blow against Reynolds, falling 59-12.

Lakeview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Remington Marsh and Owen Feltenberger.

Meanwhile, Sharpsville had to suffer through a 42-13 loss at the hands of Slippery Rock.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sharpsville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-5.

Things could have been worse for Lakeview, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 34-15 loss to Sharpsville in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Sailors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
