Volleyball Recap: Willow Glen Takes a Loss

Willow Glen was the 3-1 winner over Gunderson when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Willow Glen actually scored more points across those five sets (119-115), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 28-26, 17-25, 26-24, 20-18.

Willow Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Gunderson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.

Coming up, Willow Glen will square off against Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gunderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
