Mountain View and San Elizario are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Lobos will head out to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will be strutting in after a victory while San Elizario will be coming in after a defeat.

Mountain View hadn't beaten Fabens on the road since April 6, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Lobos narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wildcats 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Diego Peinado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, San Elizario was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 10-4 to Clint.

Mountain View's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13. As for San Elizario, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Mountain View skirted past San Elizario 8-7 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lobos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
