Volleyball Game Preview: Chelsea Academy Knights vs. New Covenant Gryphons + Official Tickets

The Chelsea Academy Knights will take on the New Covenant Gryphons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chelsea Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Chelsea Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Greenbrier Christian Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-6.

Meanwhile, New Covenant was able to grind out a solid win over Richmond Christian on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.

New Covenant walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 19-25, 25-12.

Chelsea Academy's record is now 16-6. As for New Covenant, their record now sits at 21-5.

Chelsea Academy beat New Covenant 3-1 when the teams last played back in November of 2016. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
