Basketball Recap: Fort Walton Beach Find Success

Fort Walton Beach's tournament run continued when they took on Aiken on Friday. The Vikings came out on top against the Fighting Green Hornets by a score of 58-51.

Julian Graham and Tarrant McKenzie certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Graham posted 11 points, while McKenzie earned nine points. Another player making a difference was Sanjaya Johnson, who had six points and seven rebounds.

Fort Walton Beach now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Aiken, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Fort Walton Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 83-58 victory against Trinity Collegiate on the 6th. As for Aiken, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-25 win against Curtis Baptist on the 6th.
