Soccer Recap: Newport - Bellevue Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Newport - Bellevue couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Chiawana Riverhawks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Newport - Bellevue were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Chiawana apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Newport - Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 15-4-3. As for Chiawana, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-1-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Newport - Bellevue nor Chiawana have any future games scheduled.
