It's playoff time, and Southlake Carroll had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Austin Maroons 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Dragons as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
Kinsley Young paced Southlake Carroll's offense, picking up 21 kills. Young got some help from Emma Eyster and her 29 assists. Finally, Young was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.
Southlake Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 35-5. As for Austin, they moved to 41-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
