It was a good run, but Peck unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Merritt Academy Mustangs by a score of 8-6. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Peck's record now sits at 6-6. As for Merritt Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peck will host Dryden at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Merritt Academy, they will welcome Landmark Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
