Clear Creek came into Tuesday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Belleview Christian Bruins with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Golddiggers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 21st (when they won 3-0).

Clear Creek never let Belleview Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Belleview Christian lost, don't look at Harjas Thiara. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs. Thiara has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Clear Creek's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-11. As for Belleview Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
