Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin). They put the hurt on the Clinton-Massie Falcons with a sharp 22-15 win on Monday. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly seven runs.
Aiden Standifer made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Standifer was even better at the plate, going 2-for-6 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for Franklin: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-8 otherwise.
