Soccer Recap: Mandarin Comes Up Short

Mandarin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Stanton Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 82nd).

Mandarin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Stanton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mandarin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seabreeze at 7:20 p.m. on January 17th. As for Stanton, they will be playing at home against Atlantic Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stanton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
